Nutava is an Australian software company. We develop our own software products and build bespoke systems, drawing on decades of experience in mining, engineering and industry.
Two ways we work with clients
Software products
We develop, supply and support our own software products for organisations with specialised requirements. MAX4METS, our metallurgical accounting system for mining and mineral processing, is one example.
Bespoke software
Most of our bespoke work is for mining and industrial operations, where production data, plant information and reporting must be accurate. Where a packaged product does not fit, we design, build and support a system that does.

Software product · Mining and mineral processing
MAX4METS centralises plant data, automates metal balance calculations and produces auditable production reports. It is in use at mining operations and is configurable to any commodity and process. It draws on our team's experience across mine scheduling, geology, production and processing, with gold, copper, base metals, rare earths, tungsten and salt producers in Australia and overseas.
Community project
Case management and reporting for community health services, covering client intake, referrals, sessions, workshops and community events. First developed for women's health centres around Queensland funding and reporting requirements, and hosted on Microsoft Azure.
WHIR is a not-for-profit community project, separate from our commercial business. It is maintained and supported by the team that built it, and we intend to continue its development.

Nutava Pty Ltd develops software products and bespoke systems for mining, industrial and community organisations.
Established in Perth in 2015, Nutava has worked with mining and industrial clients since its founding. The team combines software engineering with practical experience in mineral processing and mine site operations, and supports every system it delivers directly.
In 2019 the company acquired the MPX, GEORGE and MPX:DS mining products and began trading as Nutava Mining. MPX, GEORGE and CLIMS were sold to PeopleTray in 2022, and the company's mining software is now MAX4METS.
